The tubular centrifuge separator is a high-speed centrifugal device that can rotate at a speed of over 15,000 revolutions per minute and has a separation factor of over 15,700. It can separate tiny solid particles in liquids and clarify liquids by removing solid impurities.
It is mainly used for liquid-solid, liquid-liquid two-phase separation or liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation. The separable particles can reach 0.1 microns, especially for some small liquid-solid specific gravity differences, fine solid particle size and low solid content. It is more suitable for the extraction, concentration and clarification of materials such as low temperature and strong corrosive medium. It is mainly used in the following field:
- Various fruit and vegetable oils separation(citrus oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil, soybean oil, etc.);
- Fruit juice clarification and purification, and pulp and fiber separation of soybeans, peanuts, wheat, and other plants;
- Beer, chemicals, vaccines, traditional Chinese medicine, fermentation solutions, dairy products separation.
Working Principle
The tubular centrifuge separator consists of a machine body, transmission system, drum, liquid collection system, and feed system. The electric motor drives the large pulley, which then transfers power to the small pulley and spindle on the machine head via a transmission belt and tensioner. The spindle is connected to the drum and rotates clockwise at high speed, creating a powerful centrifugal force field on the inner wall of the drum. The material is injected into the drum through the nozzle at the bottom of the feed device, under the influence of the strong centrifugal force, the liquid forces the material to undergo layered movement, the solid particles move toward the outer ring of the drum, while the clear liquid moves toward the middle layer and flows into the liquid collection tank through the outlet at the top of the middle layer.

- The most significant feature of the high-speed tubular centrifuge separator is its high centrifugal force and separation factor. It can obtain a highly clear supernatant for most fermentation solutions and separate solid particles with low water content.
- During the operation of the tubular centrifuge separator, the liquid phase continuously enters and exits the machine, while the solid phase can only be intermittently operated. When the solid particles fill full in the drum, the machine must be stopped, disassembled, the material removed, cleaned, and reassembled before running again. The high-speed tubular centrifuge separator is suitable for clarifying the separation of materials with low solid content (less than 2%), while other centrifugal equipment is recommended for materials with high solid content (greater than 5%) as pre-treatment.
- The operation of the tubular centrifuge separator is straightforward but requires strict adherence to operating procedures. The drum balance requirements are high, and if not cleaned thoroughly during the cleaning process, it can cause equipment vibration.
- It includes remote control startup and shutdown using mobile devices, made possible by the development of electronic technology. The machine can also be controlled within 100 meters using a remote control. The control box for the tubular centrifuge separator features an LED liquid crystal screen, variable frequency speed control, and PLC control. The LED screen displays voltage, current, rotation speed, and temperature. It also has multiple motor protections, including overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, overload protection, overheating protection, phase-drop protection, speed-loss protection, ground protection, short-circuit protection, and low-voltage protection.
- It is not allowed to separate materials with a density greater than 1.2g/cm3 and materials with a temperature greater than 90Ā°C and lower than -20Ā°C.
