Glass Bottle Filling Machine Description
- Glass bottles are non-toxic, odorless, chemically stable, hygienic, clean, bright, transparent, beautiful, good barrier performance, recyclable, pressure-resistant, cleaning-resistant, can bear high-temperature sterilization and low-temperature storage, these characteristics make glass bottles a popular package in liquid food and beverage packaging. Glass bottles or glass jars are widely used to fill pure water, mineral water, fruit juice, fruit jam, carbonated drinks, beer, wine, liquor, syrup, etc.
- The bottle filling system is usually composed of empty bottle conveying, glass bottle washing machine, filling machine, capping machine, full bottle conveying, bottle cap sterilizing machine, cap sorting device, capping elevator device, stainless steel control cabinet, bottle transfer system and so on. According to customer needs, a vacuum bottle sealing system, liquid nitrogen dosing system, disinfectant bottle washing system, CIP cleaning system, explosion-proof motor, etc. can also be equipped.
- The glass bottle filling system is made of stainless steel 304, sturdy and durable, in line with food hygiene conditions, the entire bottle feeding, bottle washing, filling, capping and other actions are controlled by PLC, which can be synchronized, no bottle, no filling and capping. Lack of bottle or cap comes with an alarm function.
- The key control components of the equipment are all internationally renowned brands, such as Siemens or Mitsubishi PLC and touch screen, Banner photoelectric sensor, SEW geared motor, Danfoss inverter, Festo solenoid valve, Sick proximity switch, etc.
- Glass bottle caps come in many forms, including crown caps, screw caps, twist-off caps, aluminum caps, etc. Among them, screw caps or aluminum caps are mostly used for juice jams, crown caps are mostly used for beer and carbonated beverages, and aluminum caps are used for liquor.
- The filler is high-precision, high-speed level filling, filling precision≤±2mm, the liquid distribution tank is controlled by a sensor. The filler is driven by a driving system positioned inside the machine frame via gear transmission.
- The glass bottle filler system capacity is from 1000BPH to 30000BPH available, and the bottle volume from 250ml-2500ml can be shared in one filling machine.
Glass Bottle Filling Machine Working Process
Bottles are fed from the conveyor chain into the filling machine mono-bloc via star wheel. A bottle clamp installed on the rotary wheel of the rinse will grip the bottle mouth and make a 180° turn along a guide track to face the bottle mouth downward. In the designated section of the rinse, rinsing water will jet out from special nozzles to flush bottle inside wall. After rinsing and dripping, bottles gripped by bottle clamp will make another 180° turn along a guide track to resume bottle mouth facing up position. Clean bottles are discharged out of the rinse by a star wheel to feed the filler. When the sensor is detected the glass bottle coming, the support tray will pick up bottles to the filling valve, then the filling valve extends into the bottle mouth under the action of the mechanical cam to start filling. When reaches the filling level, the filling valve closes and resets, and the filled liquid is sent to the capping mechanism by the starwheel wheel for capping.
Glass Bottle Filling Machine Type
According to the filling material, it can be divided:
—Glass bottle water/liquor filler: The filling temperature is normal temperature, it is the most simple filler, only with washer, filler and capper parts.
—Glass bottle juice filler: The juice filler system can be washing, filling and capping 3-in-1 hot filling, it can also be designed for 4-in-1 or 5-in-1 one or two disinfectant washing, one pure water washing, filling and capping cold filling or normal temperature filling. There are some juices that are easily oxidized, and can also be added to the vacuum sealing system or filling the liquid nitrogen system to extend the juice shelf life. CIP cleaning cups, material reflux tank is also essential parts.
—Glass bottle carbonated drinks/beer filler: This type of filler is also called isobaric filling machine, the filler temperature is 3-5℃ cold filling. The liquid distribution tank is much thicker as there are CO2 in liquid, also the filling valve is different from water and juice filling machine, the filling valve has a return air tube, inflation tube, filling tube. Firstly, the air draw tube will draw out the air in bottles, then fill CO2 and liquid in bottles.
—Glass jars fruit puree/sauce filler: As the fruit puree has the feature of high viscosity, so this type of filler is piston type machine. When filling the sauce into glass jars, vacuum sealing and foil sealing are used.
