Water sources and water quality are important conditions for the selection of the site of the fruit processing plant, especially the fruit juice, and the fruit wine processing plant has higher requirements for water quality. The exclusion of waste residue in the factory should be processed nearby, and the wastewater is discharged after treatment.

The processing workshop is the core area of the fruit processing plant. The reasonable and scientific processing workshop design and layout will affect post-production processing products, the quality of the product, the development of new products, the comprehensive utilization of raw materials, the sales of products, economic benefits, and the overall development of the factory. Because the processing workshop is not easy to change, it must be considered in the design process. The design must be considered and coordinated with civil construction, water supply drainage, power supply, air(steam) supply, ventilation, heating, cooling, safety and hygiene, comprehensive utilization of raw materials, and wastewater, exhaust gas and solid waste governance.

At the same time, you should also pay attention to the distance between the equipment, the safety maintenance distance between the equipment and the building to ensure convenient operations, maintenance, disassembling and unloading, cleaning and hygiene.
• The processes of the processing workshop and other workshops should cooperate with each other to ensure that the transportation of each material is smooth and avoid repeated round trips. Try to use the space transportation of the processing workshop as much as possible, reasonably arrange the entry and exit of the personnel and the materials, and pay attention to the discharge and timely treatment of various waste.
• Pay attention to the lighting, ventilation, heating, cooling and other facilities of the workshop. The production of hygiene and labor must be considered, such as sanitary disinfection, flying and insect-proof, workshop drainage, electrical moisture prevention and safety fire prevention measures.
• For the heat distribution, odor, and corrosive medium, it is necessary to concentrate separately to reduce transportation pipelines and losses.
• Equipment that can be placed outdoors such as evaporator, boiler, air pressure system, water treatment, etc., can be set as outdoors and covered with simple shed protection.
