End Products Of Pineapple Processing LineĀ
—Concentrated Pineapple Juice(CPJ):Ā filled into Aseptic bag in drums or bag in box containers.
—NFC(Not From Concentrated) Pineapple juice: filled into PET or glass bottles, aseptic cartons or pouches.
—Reconstituted pineapple juice: Use concentrated pineapple juice as raw materials, then dilute with water and add flavoring agents, after full blended, then after pasteurized, homogenized, degassed and filled into small bottles, tin cans.
—Pineapple pulp: it is the product obtained from peeled pineapple by crushing and pulping. The pineapple pulp may be preserved by thermal treatment and by adding preservatives. It is packed into small and bulk lots for further industrial processing and formulations in ice cream mixes, jellies, jams, and sodas. The pulp can be heat sterilized and packed aseptically, leading to a product with a long shelf life without any added preservatives.
—Dry Pineapple slice/chips: The fresh pineapple after washing, peeling, and slicing, then sent to the vacuum dryer for drying. The dried pineapple slice will be filled into pouches or jars. The fresh pineapple slice moisture content is 70%-80%, after drying, the mango slice moisture content is about 10%-12%. The drying temperature is about 60ā, and one batch of pineapple slice drying takes about 20-22 hours.
—Pineapple wine: The similar process for producing apple cider, use concentrated pineapple juice or fresh pineapple as raw material, then the pineapple juice will be standardized and ultra-filtered, then the clear juice will be alcoholic fermentation, after that, we will get the pineapple wine. Then the pineapple wine will be pasteurized and filled into bottles.
—Canned Pineapple Chunks: Fresh pineapple after washing, sorting, cutting two ends and remove fruit core, then use the slicer machine to cut the pineapple into slices or chunks, then add the antioxidants and sugar water to mix, and filled into metal cans.

Fresh pineapple uses an air bubble washing machine to wash dirty matters, then sort out the bad and rotten fruits through roller conveyor, then we will get clean and high-quality fresh pineapples. Then there are two options for pineapple juice extracting, the first processing method is using pineapple peeling and core removing combiner to remove the peel and core, then after fruit crusher, belt press juicer, then we will get the fresh pineapple juice; The second method is that fresh pineapple will be fed into roller type juice extractor to extract the juice directly. Then you can choose if you need to concentrate juice or not. If your end products are selling to dealers and pineapple juice repacking manufacturers, then you can use an evaporator to concentrate pineapple juice and after sterilizing then filled into aseptic bags in bulk; if your end products are selling to supermarkets, then after you get the fresh pineapple juice, you just need to sterilize then fill into small packages like bottles or Tetra Pak cartons.

Fresh pineapple use air bubbling washing machine and brush washing machine. It provides pineapple fruits soaking, washing and rinsing. Through two washing processes, the dirt and bacteria on the surface of the fruit are removed. Then use the roller sorter to choose low qualified fruits.
Pineapple peeler and end cutterĀ

Ā Pineapple juice extractorĀ
The belt press is designed for continuous juice extraction from chopped pineapple fruits or pineapple mash without the previous necessity of enzymatic treatment. The juice extraction is obtained by increasing the pressure on the fruit cake placed between the two running belts. The fruit cake is conveyed on the upper belt where is uniformly distributed. After its conveying on the lower belt, the fruit cake is subjected to a further increasing of pressure by approaching the two belts toward the wedge zone. In the pressure zone, the cake contained between the two belts, follows an S pattern around the rolls with a different and decreasing diameter. The capacity for the belt press pineapple juice extractor is from 3 tons per hour-20 tons per hour.
The other choice is using a roller half juice extractor to extracting pineapple juice. The advantage is that the machine has the function of pineapple peeling, pineapple crushing and pineapple juice extracting. The fresh pineapple after washing and sorting, can feed into this machine to get the juice. The capacity is also big, from 5tons/hour to 20 tons per hour.
Pineapple juice separatorĀ
The pineapple juice after extracted, then it will be pumped to one two-phase centrifuge separator to remove undesirable particles, after separation, the pineapple juice insoluble-solids content is about 5%-30% to make the end products have a good mouthfeel.
To make the clear pineapple juice, one more ultra-filtration process will be needed, and before clarification, pectolytic enzymes may be used to break down the pectins in pineapple juice.
Concentrated pineapple juice evaporatorĀ
Use a falling film evaporator to concentrate the pineapple juice from 12 Brix to 65 Brix. The evaporating temperature is between 45-78ā, which can avoid pineapple juice with overheat treatment. The whole machine uses food-grade SUS304 material and the whole process is fully automatic with PLC control. The pineapple juice evaporator can be designed one effect, double effect or multi-effect evaporator according to production capacity, and the steam, cooling water can be recycled in multi-effect evaporator, with low energy consumption and high production efficiency.
Pineapple juice sterilizerĀ
Concentrated pineapple juice or NFC pineapple juice can be sterilized by a tubular sterilizer, the normal sterilizing process is 115-120ā for 30S, then do aseptic filling or hot filling.
For the blended pineapple juice and pineapple jam, the tubular/plate pasteurizer is used, pasteurizing temperature is 95-98ā, then do the hot filling into bottles or cans.
For pineapple chunks, before filling into cans, you can pasteurize or no need to pasteurize by one tubular pasteurizer, then after filling, the spray type or water bath type pasteurizer or retort sterilizer can be applied for the canned pineapple juice.
Pineapple juice filling machineĀ
There are two types of filling for pineapple juice: One is for hot filling (small bottles or tin cans), the other is aseptic filling(Aseptic bags or cartons).
The single-strength pineapple pulp can be heat sterilized and packed aseptically, leading to a product with a long shelf life without any added preservatives; The concentrated pineapple pulp can be filled into barrels and then stored at -18ā for an extended shelf life without the addition of chemicals.
For the pineapple chunks, there will be a 4-in-1 filler, the first station is for flushing metal cans, the second station for filling pineapple chunks, the third station is for filling sugar water, the fourth station is for sealing cans.
